Honestly, unless you're a hard carry like Zed, Xin, Yi, etc does your performance even matter?

Winning or losing is basically a toss of a coin, with personal effort meaning very little unless you play a select group of champions that can singlehandedly win games.

People that say "It's the champion that matters, not your skill" usually are the people hardstuck in a lower elo.

Now think about why there are some of us in a higher elo that do not play some mainstream or 1v5 champion.

Your skill and your performance matters very much. You lose a game because you don't carry good enough.

I lose games to, but they are very rarely due to only OP champions in the enemy team. It always comes down to the fact that I played something really bad and lost the lane due to that or even the game. Sure my teammates fuck up too sometimes, but if I don't win, it is because I didn't do good enough to carry that teammate.

I feel the same way sometimes. I always hear, "You rarely get 4 feeders." But literally, I've counted 2 games today where I actually did.

Game 1: Jax: 0/6/3 Vladimir(Me): 4/5/3 Lucian:2/8/5 Gragas: 4/6/1 Soraka:1/4/6

Game 2: Draven: 0/7/0 Jax: 4/6/2 Malphite 1/7/1 Teemo: 2/8/1 Vladimir(Me): 4/1/2

This is all in my match history, although I can't post names because of the rules policy. So go check it out if you don't believe me.

This, of course, is the worst case scenario but I really haven't seen much better. You either get feeders or an AFK/unskilled/troll

Do I feed also? Yes, I have, albeit rarely and usually not the first to start the snowball. But if I'm getting stuck with an entire feeding team, I don't see how carrying can get any less relevant.

P.S tired of hearing the 44% argument where trolls/feeders/afk are 44% less likely to be on your team. 7/10 out every game I've played so far had one of the above and not on the enemy team.
