What is the point of the stats page in the client?

Like cool story you have "higher KDA then a challenger" you are still down in low elo with the rest of us?

I think they can help people a little, but really with how people think does it actually help people improve? I feel like its mostly made already toxic "Cant carry" "Belong is high elo" worst.
