Shen's Ult Gets Canceled After Aatrox's World Ender Saves Him

Is it necessary for Shens' ult to cancel when Aatrox tries to revive himself? Just like Zhonyas, I feel like it should still go through. You have no idea how many times I've gotten upset over it because I've lost too many Aatrox lives in battle when they've needed my ult to go through and help them in unfair fights!!! Shen's ult cd is pretty damn high, and it feels like I've wasted it too many times on things like this that don't make sense to me.
