The problem is, yeah the english voice actor is available to do it. But what with the others languages? If Riot wants do give Shen new voice lines, they have to work with at least 17 voice actors wich is very complicated if not planned. I totally agree, Shen needs it, even if it's just for a legendary PF skin, but I don't hope too much.

Huh, didn't know he voiced Captain Gantu from Lilo and Stitch, that's neat.

Honest, I'm not a Shen Main, but this Pulsefire Skin makes me so sad. Shen waited +5 years for his skin and he doesn't got his full VGU. And as Riot mentioned that we will get a new pair VS. I was so sure it would go Zed and Shen. A Zed legendary would sell incredible well, while they could use the hired voice actor to redo Shen default as well. But no, that would make actually sense. Instead he gets a futuristic skin, from which we already have enough.

Sorry, Shen Mains, you deserve better than this.

Well there's a certain champion that's gonna receive a VGU soon that has a deeper connection to Shen, with said champion also seeming to move on from her association to the kinkou order, making way for an interesting relationship, especially Shen's duty being to make as rational and non emotion driven decisions as possible and would honestly help to get both sides of the coin instead of just one, especially now that the opportunity is clearly there... hint hint ... seriously though that's multiple conditions and it's not like the voice actor is unavaible or not interested in still giving the character their voice. It would honestly be perfect, especially since Shen still feels only half-finished like those other pure VUs like Fiora or Alistar. At the very least Maokai got a VO update later on, but that's about it.

They should revert him first.

I started playing league of legends back in 2012 because of shen I liked his theme dynamic and look and I have mained him for 6 years! 6 years of using the same skins(yes I own them all) And now I finally get something new for my main squeeze and though it's pretty it is lack luster for what I had anticipated for our love, starting with the lack of new voice lines I had really hoped for a legendary or god willing shen would get the new ultimate. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with the new skin but comon Riot these really feels like a half assed skin

I am a Shen main with an account in just about every elo, was so excited when the skin was teased. Only to log in to the pbe and be utterly disappointed. Honestly Thematically Pulsefire Shen makes no sense. Shen has never had a skin that cost more then 975rp with a select few price tag at 520rp like Yellow jacket and frozen "MK" inspired. Then he and Akali Blood moon skin are pretty lack luster as well considering the more resent Blood moon skins have backing animations. Ultimately this skin is like a spit in the face from Riot, they had the opportunity to really bring this home Shen in my opinion being one of the cornerstone Champions in League. Faced with this as the result of their product, this skin isn't really worth the money it would cost and I would of gladly waited until December of next year for a skin that deserves to be given to a champion that is popular in solo q as well as the pro seen. Riot just dropped the winning point ball in a Superbowl game things that have never changed for Shen Dance, death animation, voice, taunts, laugh, jokes, skin animations ability animations, expensive skins never anything over 975rp for a consistent (until a patch or 2 ago) pick or ban top lane champ in pro play that's insane.

There are quite alot of champions waiting for a VO, some even have voice overs completely contradicting their personality in the lore...

But well, it seems that you have to be popular enough to receive a high end skin (like Lux and Miss Fortune) to get the chance of a new voice over.

Unfortunate, but I doubt that Shen will get new lines in the near future.

Voicing over just seems like such a fun job.
