New Panth

Does someone wanna explain to me who the absolute meatwad smoothbrain degenerate was at Riot who okayed a 40% slow on his Q, and 150% AD scaling on his E on the slam, And an invulnerable, even to turret shots, for the TWO AND A HALF SECOND DURATION, and still thought "hey, this'll get played as a top lane bruiser" instead of "hey, we're literally giving him a better kit than every single assassin we've ever created, sans Akali, and he's gonna be completely broken on release" like sane people who understand how the game they're designing works?

How did y'all screw this up that fucking bad?

Stop letting CertainlyT anywhere near champion design discussions, in fact, literally just fire him because he's pretty much exclusively responsible for the level of power creep the game is experiencing, and hire some folks who both understand how the champions work, how their lore should be incorporated into the kits, and how to design the kits in a way that isn't gamebreaking on release, and also fire literally all of your balance team and hire people who actually can do basic math on the balance numbers.

With regard to Pantheon especially, I'd take the slow down to 30% at rank 5, and make the damage on the slam from the E 75% scaling at rank 5 and 100% on the empower. If his slow is enough that he can run at and kill a ziggs with it, there's a problem. Also, lowering his damage while keeping his overall ability to control the lane and poke his way into a kill would make players more inclined to build him as a bruiser, which is how he was intended to be built on release in his pre-rework state and how he should have been designed to be in his reworked state. If he doesn't have massively broken damage numbers, he's not going to build like a Talon to capitalize on the higher-than-Talon damage numbers. It also means you have to actually think about the things you're doing, and manage your abilities, as opposed to being able to be played by an old man in a hospice bed recovering from the really bad seizure.

He hasn't even been out for 48 hours yet but people are able to rofl-stomp with him over and over again. I shouldn't be, on one of my best mains, getting shit on for literally free by a champion who hasn't even been out for 48 hours. That's bullshit, and there's no reason for it whatsoever. I don't understand why y'all keep letting CertainlyT anywhere near champion design and rework discussions, but if you do you're gonna wind up with a game that's unplayable by all but those who are currently Diamond 2 and up. So enjoy that one, rito.

People are roflstomping with him? I think I've only seen a single Pantheon not feed thus far. I for one am in favor of his rework it removed all of the mindlessness that the old one had.

I've tried new pantheon a couple of times and gotta say, Not impressed. Its hard to get going jungle and you'll almost ALWAYS get counter jungled by someone screwing your clear. His clear times are predictable jungle and he can't be played hardcore support anymore either. He's effective toplane versus some champions but overall it's not a good rework IMO.

Pantheon was one of my highest ranked champions alongside teedo & sion so i think i have a right to say it's a botched rework that'll quickly lose popularity unless it receives buffs which would be unjustified cause then it'd just create new issues and increase outcry.[sg-soraka]

Man.. his scalings and damage are so low compared to his old version.

Also his scalings are bonus AD not FLAT AD
