Report for int feeding does what exactly??

I'd like to report a player, and I did so in the post-game.

He literally threw the game deliberately, and the only way you'd ever know that's what he did would be to have someone watch the game. He abandoned his adc at 10 minutes, because apparently valid criticisms of plays presented in a neutral manner is "toxic", and then started farming my jungle. He sat and watched as we fought 4v5, refused to group, and didn't even actually split. He just kinda sat around and did nothing after we started grouping. When I said in /all chat to report him please, and he asked "for what" I listed them for him, without accusation or aggression. He was toxic, he literally didn't do his job as a support during lane phase and made it harder for me to do my job as a jungler. He then proceeded to taunt me and poke me in team chat asking me to elaborate, and I did, and he proclaimed, as they ended 4v5 and he was sitting in my krugs camp, that he wouldn't be the one reported after all that I'd said. I didn't say anything disrespectful or rude, but someone, anyone explain to me, what exactly "report for intentional feeding" does, because it seems like the answer is "nothing."

Intentional feeding gets a 14-day ban as the first punishment when it's detected and proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was intentional. It may not happen right away or (assuming they weren't actually inting) at all but rest assured that it does happen.

I believe it flags the game for review, but im not exactly sure how it all works. Keep in mind, millions of players are on this game. There are A LOT of reports to go through, I'm sure.

Also, just as a heads up, if someone is breaking the rules, only one person needs to report them in order for it to be looked at. You dont ever need to call for reports. Infact, since multiple reports in one game does nothing to increase the likelihood of it being reviewed, its actually seen as toxic to call for reports. Its like an accusation and an attempt to get others go gang up on someone. You dont need to accuse anyone. Just report them and let the system handle it. Youre putting your own account at risk by using chat to antagonize and it honestly sounds like the troll knows this. He was asking you to elaborate to increase the likelihood of you saying something that will end up getting yourself punished. Careful out there, Riot is super strict. Just use the report system to get people punished, not in-game chat. Thats not what chat is for.

A report flags the system (includes automated and manual) to review the game.

The review alone does not guarentee a punishment, but when Riot can identify a pattern of griefing without a shadow of a doubt, then the player will get punished.

Sometimes this process of identifying a pattern can take weeks.

Sometimes there is an actual gameplay reason to take the jg camps for gold.

Keep in mind that unless the game you reported them in shows up in the reform card (which only shows 1-5 recent games), you won't get the punishment notification.

A report notifies the IFS to look into a situation you've encountered in your singular game.
Nothing more and nothing less. They just simply look into the case.

As the IFS looks into the situation, it'll review the player's history and patterns of the player's previous reports. If consistency shows up in the reports, the player will get flagged. If the player caps the number of flags, then the player will reach a penalty tier. There are 4 penalty tiers in total. Run of out penalty tiers, then the player will eventually lose their account.

That's all your report does. So don't expect everything to revolve around your particular report. The IFS only looks at the severity and consistency.

the same goes to me ... it appears it is about how much report he gets because lately, I had such an int feeder trolling for no reason until now nothing happened to him...
