Let's be honest we've all been here before, stuck at 98-99 lp right there at promos, hell, I know I have. It's annoying, you put in that 25-50 min game and you're finally about to to be in promos for [Insert rank here], and you see that you're at 98 LP and you're mad since you have to play another game that may put you on tilt or may put you in promos.

LostFr0st1 votesThe reason it puts you at 98-99 LP is because you're mmr is just shy of the next division/tier's mmr. Keep in mind that this is the same system which keeps you from dropping instantly when you reach 0LP (like if you had 15 left and lost 20 you'd drop instead of getting placed at 0)
