It is fine if the music plays for the first 2 mins of the match, but not the entire game please. I am getting a headache listening to this same loop all game. I am struggling to focus on the game because of this music. The only way you stop this is by muting the music completely and playing with no music at all.

I want to mute the True Damage music and listen to the SR music. Using the Updated/Classic does nothing as well.

CPU usage saw a climb after that patch essentially game requirements have risen again.

Never a bad idea to check that kind of stuff but yes cpu usage has risen.

Agreed, and I'd do it in a jiffy if I didn't need to take the whole motherboard out of the computer case just to get to it.

It's an older case, so the hole in the motherboard tray for the CPU backplate doesn't line up with the 115X-sockets (Lian Li PC-V1020 - socket 775 design). :/

It's, eh...actually a current dilemma of mine.

Should I postphone building a new PC, take it all out and apply new thermal paste to see if there is any performance improvements to gain from that.

Should I just get the new PC done and call it a day. Just need to decide on which Z390 motherboard to get, as I already got the rest.

Until you respend that RP you don't have a reason to buy more though. While you have essentially prespent your money you could sit on that amount waiting for something else to come out. If Riot didn't care about the skins being refunded then we wouldn't be limited to 3 per account.

Personally I thought they were BA them for the first time of the day, maybe weeks since the last time I played the skin. But after playing a game over and over with the same skin it sometimes DOES get on my nerves hearing,

It's been 2 months and you guys still haven't fixed this. I know you've been working on so many other things but as a $6+ billion dollar company I don't see how this can be an issue for that long.

It's good to see you have your priorities in check Riot.

As a reminder, we are at the end of the season, where people wanna give that one final push to achieve the rank they want. There are missions that require games to be completed, keys, chests and honor that require games to be completed, mastery that requires games to be completed. Yet you can't guarantee your players that they can hop into a game without suffering from frame drops, frame freezes/frame skips and crashes that force players to disconnect which leads to players loosing LP and getting mass reported for something that is out of their control!

Game can be as crippled as it wants, as long as the store is up and we keep vomiting skins am I right?

There's not even an in-game notice about this for fucks sake.

I never said anything about the difficulty of the fix for the problem in question and I'm curious as to how you even got that idea and replied tackling that.

The problem is that there is not even a statement by a Riot employee letting people know that it's at least being analysed. Like I said, by the time I made the comment (I haven't logged into league since), there wasn't even an in-game notice about issues players were experiencing regarding this, and, according to some, this is something that has been getting worse for a few patches now.

Just yesterday I browsed through the boards and saw multiple posts with, again, multiple replies of players saying that they were experiencing similar things. Oh and reddits bug megathread had this issue there as well with, again, quite a few replies.

that's simple you were making the claim that riot is quick to comment on a skin bug as oppose to one that seems to be crashing some people's pc's during game and pregame, the skin bug can be fixed really easily so it is very easy for them to respond quickly, it has nothing to do with priorities as you said more to do with how to fix these two separate issues. Riot can't make any comments on whether or not the problem will be resolved until they actually solve it or not, we can assume that they are working on a fix if it is a persistent problem as they do with most bugs like this, there are very rarely in game notices for stuff like this that only affects a certain part of the playerbase sometimes. I've had this problem on and off for about a month or two now and there is no consistency to it, i have no idea what causes it or why. The difficulty of the problem is most important part of when or if they can release info on how to resolve this issue if they can, because there is always the possibility that it is on the user's side because it doesn't affect the entire player base.

Nobody is questioning that the issue is exists it's just weird to think that riot would make a statement on it without a clear plan to resolving it.

Refunding the skin doesn't make any cash grab a failure because you already gave them the money.

Using it on a skin then refunding it doesn't deduct money from riots account, it just gives back the rp you spent.

To follow-up with our plan:

The fastest way to enable this kind of toggle will be to add a CTRL+5 emote that turns it on/off, so that's our goal for next patch. Pressing CTRL+5 will mute Ekko's music and enable the music for the map you're on, and pressing it again will unmute it and mute the map music.

The better solution long term will be to add a musical note button next to your Ekko on the scoreboard (like the note next to DJ Sona) that you can click to mute/unmute your own music. That's higher scope and we'll try to get that in for a future patch.

It doesn't. You have to buy RP with real money and you can't refund that. All refunding a skin does is give you some RP back to buy a different item in the shop, Riot doesn't lose any money if you refund cosmetic items...

SR music is literally the dullist music to listen to. i literlaly have to find other music from more exciting video games to listen to when playing this game. instead of adding a mute button why not add all the music's league has made to a in game play list that lets you listen to what you want in SR?
