What's up with anivia?

She has a 54% win rate in na. Why though? Not many people play her. Is she gonna get nerfed or is the sample size too small?

I think that the main reasons why Anivia has a high winrate is because she's hard to kill in lane if played correctly and her ultimate allows her to CS extremely well - something that a lot of people tend to care less about than kills. In other words, she's good at not giving the enemy gold while earning lots of gold herself. Even if her team is behind, she can also stall the game out pretty well and make enemy leads less meaningful.

She's quite strong but it's balanced by the fact that she's difficult. Personally I don't find her tooooo difficult, but that's just an opinion. She doesn't need changes imo

She's clunkier than before, so many mains have left her. I myself started playing other champs just because of how bad her early game feels.

She doesn't need a nerf, she has a lot of weaknesses and can very easily be destroyed in lane with a lot of champions that do well into her. Her win rate is more so because some of her competition has been nerfed and she was not really a champion that would stack item 1056 that some mages have gotten used to since she would just save up for item 3070. Also for the reason that her wall's CD was lowered down quite a bit (from 25 to 17 seconds) so people are realizing that the wall became a lot more useful and spammable way to bait an enemy's flash.

With all the changes she has had over this season, some of her mains might of dropped her and she isn't being played as much from un-experienced players so her win rate increased while her play rate dropped a bit. I feel that she is fine, doesn't need a nerf or buff and we should wait until we see how any item changes or the new runes/masteries effect her in the preseason.

Though...if they were really needing to hit her some where, increasing her Wall's CD a little bit would be understandable.

I love that typo asking "Does Anivia need a nerd?" xD

Anivia's win rate comes from a very low play rate and she's difficult to take down early game in a 1 on 1 unless she does some really stupid positioning.

As the game goes on she scales super well which can be part of it as well. Once she unlocks her ultimate its hard to contest her push power at 6 and later on until the said opponent (varying) has enough AP or AD to clear the backline, or even cannon if she uses her frostbite on it.

shes the fucking cancer of mid lane

she zones you off cs inless you have an easy way of ranged last hitting

she shoves under tower all game once she hits 6

if she is behind she will clear the wave and give everyone a chance to catchup

her passive makes her retardedly safe to play

she only needs to land one skillshot to do damage and if you arent braindead you can use your wall to make it near impossible to miss

She has some of the best burst around now that almost everyone else with good burst has had it nerfed. She's probably not too out of line if she is a little on the OP side, and I almost wonder if her 54% win rate is a combination of people not knowing how to play against her and those that do play her being good with her more so than her being particularly strong.
