for those of you with h3

in my experience ( i got lvl 3 today ) i only got an honor or two a game... the game that got me to lvl 3 i got one honor in that game

Usually I get 1 or 2 a game

Got my lvl 3 yesterday. I probably played about 40-50-ish games. I don't always get honored in a good chunk of it. I play 100% support in normal and ranked and there's always someone with a big fat kda, which he kinda deserves to be multi-honored if you ask me. Also, people don't tend to honor people in a loss game (I do sometimes).

I got about 2 honor every game I played since it came out. So if imagine it's a good number

I mostly get 1 honour per game.

Incidentally, the game I got honour 3, I actually didn't get any honours (and everyone on the team didn't honour so we didn't get the boost from that). So it's not strictly number of honours based.

(Level 3 also didn't show up immediately after the game, but a few minutes later while I idled at the end of game stats while fetching a drink, which was a pleasant surprise to return to.)
