I'm a jungle main, and this new 4.20 jungle is kicking my butt.
Here are my issues:
I miss the old jungle items that gave sustain and damage.
Malicious Fury1 votesIt's all about smites. You can smite a monster for their smite-only-buff and never kill it. Some people don't know that. Make sure you get a hard leash on red or blue first. I usually start blue, save smite, then smite the toad for poison-on-hit, then kill him because he's already low hp, then I clear everything. The next thing I smite is the rock for stun-minion-on-hit. Those two buffs usually ensure fast clear times for me.
If you're starting red, then save smite for stun-minion-on-hit first. Then use your next smite on toad.

cough But it's healthy to go back at around 700 gold for that machete upgrade, then it's smooth sailing from there.
So far, Cough, besides cough my friends and I have been able to fully clear the jungle. Getting the biscuit mastery really helps.
Nerdchop1 votesRaptors are way too strong as they are. It's not even fun having them in the game. I don't ever hit level 6 when taking my 3rd buff. This jungle is a mess.
Jungle is meant to keep junglers relevant throughout the game, and the jungler is meant to pressure lanes and get objectives.
As it is, I can't pressure any lanes. I can hardly survive in my jungle. I definitely can't take dragon which is like a baron.
I dislike how strong the jungle is. The items are something that will take getting used to, but revert how strong the camps are. It's ridiculous. Especially the raptors.
