Lets talk about Bard

Now taking the spot for the lowest win rate amongst all champions Bard is League of Legends new support of epic failure. Most people queuing ranked solo automatically assume that a Bard pick is an automatic loss, and a vast majority of the time it is.

What are some of the reasons you think this champion is failing or why players are failing with this champion.

My biggest concern is CDR I think all his skills cool down rates are way to high. Another issue is chime xp and meeps, you don't get nearly enough xp for chimes to sacrifice leaving lane, you can not carry enough meep to use them to make a dramatic difference in most team fights, single early lane exchanges its fine but end game they offer very little.

Bards fail due to not tanking, I got my adc's fed with him yesterday. A none tank Bard will fail. I had an Ezreal at 20/1 among the games.

I think another major issue with Bard is there are no gold build items that promote wandering, you leave lane you loose gold gain from coin, or the ability to use any passive gold gain from any gold support item.

And thats the problem. The bard has two ways to deal dmg. auto attacks and q. BUt he ie so squishy that you have to build tank to not die in two hits. After you q all u can really do is auto attack or put down a well. You have no ap so the health is minimal that they gain. the movement speed is nice for getting away.

Bard will never be good in solo q. I love him and will continue to play him though i know i have a better chance with just about any other support. His maagical journey is actually super useful but in the elo im in players rarely think the same which really douses its effectiveness. The worst part is when u put it down for three people. and only one person takes it effetively putting them in a bad situation.

So far...Bard is complete shit. He's never with the adc, he's always running around doing his little space portal shit then stuns their whole team to save himself from dying when no one is around to follow up. That's Bard in a nutshell. Fuk everyone.

Hunters machete does, so does upgraded coin, however 2 gold per 5 seconds or 5 gold per 5second isn't a whole lot, I do use hunters machete though.

Also Bards base stats are amongst the lowest in the game of all champions his starting movement speed is 325, ad 46, his spells don't scale well with ap, two of his spells don't scale at all since they're utility spells with no damage and his starting armor hp and resist are all low.

He is effectively Lulu without the usefulness in team fights.
