330 Armor, Thornmail, Sunfire 3k hp Jinx does 2k damage and takes 0 damage with only 10% lifesteal.
The amount of damage and adc can deal to a high armor target especially one with thorn mail while taking nill damage is completely unbalanced.

I out trade any Riven with my Taric top with just proper runes/masteries and a cloth of armor. But it downscales the more you get because people would just be immortal otherwise. That said. Last whisper is CANCER for this game.

The tank lasts 3 seconds After a Hard Engage, harring the enemy team? That's still better than the ADC who Just got 2 shoted by the Mage/Assassin.
The trick is the Hard engage. Tanks, who don't have Hard engage could potentially get killed before they can actually harry the enemy. And most Engage tanks (except maybe Maokai) are being outclassed by hard engage Mages like Kennen and Lisandra, who substitute the Tankyness with invulnerability, like from a Zonya's. All while leaving them in a better position to carry, which makes them more desirable in YoloQ.

Key point being, how long did it take for Jinx to deal the damage, how well was she doing at that point in the game (in terms of itemization), how was everyone's positioning, ect.
Sure Jinx dealt a lot of damage to you (it's her role after all), but you should realize that you are way tankier than Jinx (she has little to no defensive stats compared to you). While you might be taking a lot damage, she will die 10 times over to the same damage. So who is dealing the damage to her? If you're building thornmail and sunfire, it isn't you... you would just be distracting Jinx for one of your other teammates to put out the damage on her.
