Ornn is actually the dumbest fucking champion in the game right now! His damage is out of control. Like it is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too high. He is doing half of your health bar in one W. Like his one W is doing almost 50% max health. His passive is also giving his whole team tons of scaling when improving their items. He is also doing even more damage because he can upgrade an Abyssal Mask to do 15% more damage when he already does too much. There is no reason why he should be as strong as he is right now. For an example, I was playing Ryze in the late game and his W did 1200 damage to me.... One W did 1200 damage. 1200 damage. One ability. From a full tank. 1200 damage from a full tank champion IN ONE ABILITY! Going off of Riot's shit habit of balancing around pro play, there's no way in hell he isn't picked a lot.

Yes, I built Abysall Mask for the MR and HP. I also had Rod of Age and Morello, but he does tons of max health, so it didn't matter. The point is that a tank should never be doing that much damage. It's almost as bad as pre-nerf Mundo last season when he was getting upwards of 300 AD as a full tank. The biggest difference being Ornn offers tons of utility and team fight presence.

It was clash so I'm guessing he had 4 other dudes trying to be moral support instead of the voice of reason, they probably didn't realize he'd end up here.

Meanwhile after my clash team got our rears handed to us we were just like "Yeah, we shoulda played better, and we could probably do better at targeting bans" then won the next game.

Clash is also a poor method of calling for balance. When a team is organized on comms champs power levels change, suddenly champs like Bard who can poorly position in enemy JG and get caught, can accidentally hit own allies with bad wall paths, and ult in ways that do more damage than good, suddenly they're wreaking havoc around the map with 4 people on their tail.

Ornn goes from "Probably wont get to his passive before game is decided" to "let's push this late" (Ornn in OPs game got lvl 18)

Listen OP, sometimes you hand people their asses, sometimes they hand you yours. That's how it is. If you genuinely feel what you do about your post, you should play Ornn.

I had my duo lane getting lane opponents entire divisions up, not once did they blame the champion across from them.

Also, now that clash is here, roommate was playing ranked flex and entire team surrendered a win to her, and one of her allied teams with her on it, it's obvious what's happening here. People are going into flex with buddies and inting/surrendering wins to try to lower clash ratings.

Bro, I obviously built a Void Staff. I was showing the fact that I in fact built some form of tank stats.

Here is your build path that game, wasn't had to figure out which game it was since you only have 3 Ryze games played in the last 3 months and only 1 is vs Ornn.

https://imgur.com/a/8vJtLtv Abyssal mask was not built at any point in that game. No MR at all actually. So you built pure health... With no MR... No fucking wonder a %Max health magic damage ability does so much damage.

I main Ryze and trust me you don't do a lot of damage to tanks till Core items + Void staff + Deathcap + Level 16 just how it is. Mages aren't supposed to be tank killers anyway. Honestly you probably win that game if you go Deathcap instead of Morello.

How did Ornn go from "Whos Ornn?" to "HOLY FUCKING SHIT NERF THIS CHAMP DELETE HIM REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" I have no idea how strong he is but ima guess by the fact that he is a good tank with percent health damage and the ability to give free stats to his team thru his passive that hes pretty darn good. Still dont think he is THAT big of an issue but that's Silver Rank thoughts so take it how you will.

Honestly its just another sign of the issues with Top lane, lets not nerf another champ to let riot get away with current top lane for even longer.

the champ is pure bullshit. all you need to do is play safe for 5 mins then you basically stat check every melee, he is overloaded to say the least, only good tank atm really though he is only decent due to being straight broken in many areas

Ornn hasn't really changed (til sunfire last patch) he's always been strong, and I even asked why no one played him before and got the answer "skill cap too high". People are just blind to some champs until they're not. Ornns a solid tank, has been for a long time. The level of CC is unmatched. This is board complaint of the month syndrome tbh. That said though, he may need a tiny tweak due to sunfire cape. Something to offset it by like 80% (only 80 as it shouldn't be a forced to build item)

Overall, I'm pretty happy with where Ornn is myself, it's nice seeing a healthy tank.
