If TK can see a comeback in LCS...

Why can't Sejuani? Why can't Zed? Why can't Rek'Sai? Why can't Taliyah? Why can't Kindred? Why can't all our champions see a comeback in LCS? Why does Riot buff people like Lee Sin(drome)? Why does there have to be like 4 jungle picks this year? and a not so diverse mid lane or bot or top either?

Because they are just the best champs at what they do that don't have some high risk attached to their kit in order for them to be good

Riot targets the "almost viable" in their attempts to make Worlds as inclusive as possible. Partially because they can't afford to do anything major, and also cause they don't want to throw the pros a curve ball.

Lee sin falls into that catigory because his kit is basically always viable, and welcome in just about any meta. Thus he only needed a light push to be put back into contention.

And that's the other problem. If champion X is good at doing A, but A has no place in the meta, then riot can't really afford to bring champ X into contention. Buffing champion X until A is viable, basically means that champion X would be forcing the meta. (and by definition, a problem.) And they wouldn't have time to refocus champion X around something else.

Don't forget that TK was only picked as a specific counter to Ashe and was only picked because of the large amount of ranged supports that were banned out. Not to mention that he also is among a select few support who matched SSG's dive their backlines hard comp.

It's not as though he was a universal pick, he matched a few very specific requirements to just be in that one game

Sejuani still has issues of not doing much on QSS and there's other champs with better counter engage/pick plays

Zed is still too weak, reason why he's banned in SoloQ are kneejerk reactions (STILL) to qss which only affected adcs in the first place, meaning supports and tanks still peel him off said adc and they're still good to go.

Rek'sai never left....

Taliyah's waveclear nerf hit her EXTREMELY hard, we'll have to wave if anyone picks up her "buffed" state but that waveclear nerf really did a number on her

Kindred suffers from being squishy so cc and burst prevent her ulti most of the time and qss isn't an easy item purchase for her.

Most champs aren't able to do multiple situations and function or don't benefit their strategies.

Well Lee Sin, I'm actually surprised with just a shield/sustain buff he came back O_o. So I'm guessing since a large amount play him even when they shouldn't, he's suffering from false performance information. But I don't think the buff wasn't reasonable.

Jungle will always been tier based picking, unlike laners junglers affect everything from level 2, where as laners only really impact their lane+another role until about 10-15minutes in? So jungle always has to be a top tier pick or else you just won't have the lane pressure/clear speed or transition to mid/late/end game well.

However I don't see this "4 jungle picks" you're seeing.
