If you are going to make this sort of video. At least change the unforgiving meta.

We literally cannot tell if our ally is "just losing" or straight out inting with the current snowball and JG gankfest that requires no farm. VIsion is lower than previous seasons so map dominance is really hard to reclaim. The current views of this game is that games end at the 15 min mark and people get "trapped" in until their nexus explode at 24 mins. Bounty systems punish carrying players so it benefits "the weakest link" of the enemy team and articifuially even out the matchup. (I literally adjusted my playstyle heavily to try to NOT get a bounty on my head) I have the highest winrate I achieved on my main champion, Yet I feel like I have no agency compared to previous seasons. (And I'm playing Malzahar. One of the champions with the highest agencies in the whole game)

Fix your damn game before you make these sort of videos. It's not going to change anything when your gaming environment is so flawed that people panic in despair and have no chance of a comeback. Also your player behaviour system also is flawed since it fails to ban people who "doesn't speak" and bans people who calls it out instead. Thank you Lyte your legacy still lives on after you got kicked out,

It honestly appals me that Riot has created this extraordinarily toxic game state and is now sat here making jokes about it. There are so many infuriating things in League of Legends that Riot themselves could directly attempt to fix but don't even try at all:

  • Autofill is definitely an improvement over the previous 'pick order' system, but it by no means perfect. Putting 3 autofills on one team and 0 on the other isn't fair. Putting an autofilled player against someone who's played thousands of games in that role is not fair. Losing your 'autofill protection' status because you've played 2 games in your offrole also isn't fair.

  • New champions being eligible in ranked is also a cause of extreme tension. Sure, this individual may have played hundreds of games as this new champion on the PBE, however, most people don't have a PBE account and in turn have no idea how to play against this new champion. This is turn leads to one team getting frustrated over this mechanic. Either the team with the new champion gets frustrated watching this individual play a champion they have no idea how to use, or the enemy team gets barrelled over, as they don't properly understand how this new champion works. At least if they spend a few days only available in normals, it's on me if I don't know what this new champion does.

  • A decline in champion design - Don't get me wrong, new champions are hella fun to play, but that only tells one side of the story. A good champion shouldn't be obnoxious to play against. 1 person shouldn't get their enjoyment at the extent of everyone else's happiness.

  • No compensation for losing a game with afk's or trolls - It honestly baffles me how you can have an afk on your team for 30 minutes of the game and the game does nothing to offer any sort of compensation for this. No reduced LP loss, no loss prevented, nothing.

There is so much Riot could do to make the game feel more enjoyable to play, but I guess making fun of people is better I guess.

And if they're going to make that sort of video, at least make it so that the tilt 'quiz' is actually functional lmao.

I often miss the option to surrender at minute 5, because if the enemy ADC is 4-0 at that point the game is already lost and you are just wasting time.

Riot themselves showed statistics probing that the team that has a gold advantage at minute 10 wins 96% of the games, and a 4% of doing a comeback is not worth the time and effort. Surrender quick and start another game is way more efficient.

At this point I'm convinced that Riot is inherently evil.

They know how everything works, along with what to do to fix it, but they intentionally leave things as they are to make certain types of players suffer.

Anyone that values strategy and foresight over twitchy/reaction-based gameplay, that favors substance over style, that likes having some semblance of control over their actions. Such people will eventually be driven insane by this game.

The continuous removal of defensive options only makes it harder to punish mistakes, so of course players are going to get frustrated as they have less control over the outcome of a game.

Most games ARE won at champ select these days, this is fact. Strategic decision-making doesn't matter as much as picking a champion that has more tools, mobility and/or range than the opponent's. When a champion has an answer for every situation there is little need to have a plan, and those are the type of champs Riot always favors when it comes to balance.

The first coherent thought I had when watching this came during the "Scarred veteran" sequence, where I thought "That little demon thing is literally what Riot's matchmaking is"

Plot twist:

Riot wanted to make this toxic meta and tell us to jump in a turbine and make sexist protest just to tilt people off so they can make a joke video about it.

A.K.A. Tilted Fables.

Self awareness is not one of Riot's strong points.

Hi im 129/7/2019, 3:40:49 PM6 votes

riot forgot to mention that you only get punished for any of these if you say bad wards :^)

Captain Marvel x9/7/2019, 7:51:48 PM6 votes

It's also insulting when you get "Scarred Veteran". I hardly talk in games. I had ONE bad game where I decided to open my mouth and defend myself against a bully and toxic individual. Little did I know, that it was a team of 3 people. So naturally, all 3 of them reported me after the game. I was given a chat restriction for a few games and my honor knocked to 0. Like WTH. I have one bad game and I get Honor 0 ?! I barely made it to Honor 1. Now I have to get to Honor 2? especially when people continue to honor their friends above all? Ridiculous.

The player behavior system is awful, honestly. Someone is blatantly flaming their team for half the game and no action is taken, but if you even think about trying to say anything you get chat restricted. Because trying to explain what you're doing to someone in a strategy-based game is somehow a worse offense than flaming, which is a literal report category.

I actually thought this awesome and well made, gg rito

People have never been able to tell if their ally was trolling or actually just losing the lane. This has been a thing since before season 1. People see one death and go "HURRRRR DURRRRRRRRRR TROLLING RPEORT 9X OMFG"

Also...

Also your player behaviour system also is flawed since it fails to ban people who "doesn't speak" and bans people who calls it out instead.

So...All those times that didn't happen are all imaginary?

Yeah pretty much my reaction to it. Don't get me wrong, not like I take a little quiz thing that seriously, but like you said, it's insane how instead of actually making changes they seriously put effort, even if minimal to make this completely useless extra.

We want changes, not side projects.

MegaHuff9/8/2019, 9:56:19 AM3 votes

It isn't right to compare toxicity to fucking murdering somebody. That's a terrible analogy and I'm at least 80% sure the purpose of saying this is to demonize opposition.

It's disgusting how many people try to pull something like that.

I took the TILT test and it classified me as Lord DGAF.

"Walking the line between “chill” and “nihilistic,” this spirit doesn’t want their time wasted and won’t hesitate to emotionally call it quits on a match or another player, all before the five-minute mark"

Wow! I can't imagine ever doing this in one of my games. Is the TILT test trolling us?

I'm clearly a Scarred Veteran.

"This spirit whispers that the only way to not tilt is to ignore it. To play another game. To stop on a good note. To get better teammates. The Scarred Veteran of tilt finds themselves alone at 3:00 AM, in the zone and desperately trying to break a loss streak. Who needs sleep when there's a win just over the horizon?"

Maybe the system got confused because I've learned to overcome my tilt? Instead of playing until I win, I play until I lose. I highly recommend this strategy btw. Always try to end your day on a game loss instead of a game win. And that includes if you are in the middle of promos. Don't finish the promo series if you lose a game because you're thinking "it's only one more game to finish my promos"... Let it go and you will be on the path to mastering your tilt.

I knew people we're going to complain about this. It's literally an insignificant little side project that someone at Riot probably made, and here we are complaining about it when there are actual issues in the game lmao
