A vote of 3/1 should result in a surrender
There is no good reason for this not being implemented.

agreed, if u choose to NOT vote. then you dont get a say.. its not a "no" vote. it's a "you are forfeiting your opinion" vote
therefore 3/1 or even 2/1 should be a surrender
if at the very least to force people to actaully press the button SO I CAN GET THE STUPID THING OFF MY SCREEN
Surrender requires a super majority to go through. 3 votes out of 5 is not a super majority.
The default state of the game is to continue playing. You have to actively declare that you want to cancel that state, which means that abstentions do not count as votes of yes.
Usually the person who does this is voting no, but purposely runs out the clock so you can't spam ff him.
Surrender needs a complete rework tbh
ff is for pussy ive won loads of games saying no and forcing them to play i will always say no never surrender
True... Nothing else to say
No. Surrenders should be an active decision from the entire team. It should never have the number reduced because someone is too busy salvaging the game to waste precious time clicking a button.
Honestly the only reason it shouldn't always require 5/5 to pass is because people should have a faster way out if there's a troll.
That guy missing his vote was probably afk
No. 3/5 is not enough to pass. The vote was 3/1/1, and the 0/0/1 defaults to no. Thus, the tally is 3/2, a failed vote.
Surrendering is way too hard honestly. I'd rather lose 15 lp to a toxic duo who want to ff than lose 20-30 mins of a pointless game while people refuse to ff because Naruto said never give up or some other dumb shit. Lp is easy to get back, time is just gone.
With the current surrender vote system, "no" means the same thing as an abstention. As it stands, the only purpose of the "no" button is to potentially arrive at the result sooner. Clicking "no" as opposed to not clicking anything doesn't affect the outcome at all. If the meaning of abstention in this system were to change, you would see different voting behavior.
TL;DR: With this change, the surrender often still wouldn't go through, because the 3/1 would be 3/2.
Idk why it doesn't follow the majority vote in ALL cases, and not just when all 5 people vote. A majority vote should mean that a 3/1 or 2/1 vote decides something as well.
no... i slide the ff bar off the screen cause its fucking irritating everytime it pops up
As long as it doesn't, just make it result in a 4v5. No reason remaining stuck in a game you're enjoying any longer, and if someone is dragging the vote, they should pay for it.
the only time a 3/1 works is when four people are playing and one dc'd. if 5 are playing then a 3/1 dont fly.
