And by close game I mean close by 15 kills at 15 minutes. I mean that is relatively closer than what it normally is at this state...Both of my games today have had a person legendary at 10 minutes... I won my first game but I felt awful playing it because ive been on the receiving end of being stomped. Being stomped or stomping this patch just feels awful. You don't have those games that just get your adrenaline pumping and super close all game anymore... Honestly this preseason just isn't that fun. I have played league for 3 years and this is what we are getting now? I am just getting even more disappointed every patch this year. Also having green wards taken out really hinders performance in plat elo at least. I can't ward my lane like I usually do... instead I have to wait 2-3 minutes for a new ward early game or buy vision wards that get killed instantly.

according to your match history comparing before patch and after patch....

BP=before patch AP=after patch

Support Role - BP game times 25-45 minutes wards from 20-35 total per game AP game times 20-35 minutes wards from 15-30 total per game Right on the same rough amount per game that you were doing before if you calculate wards per minute

NON-Support- BP game times 25-50 minutes wards from 5-12 total per game AP game times 15-35 minutes wards from 4-9 total per game Mathematically speaking you actually ward more now than you did before the patch.

Warding starts slower yes but you can ward just as much if not more now because the gold investment per ward is cheaper (upgrades free after lvl 9) I don't understand all these people complaining about the wards getting taken out so fast.... it still gives you what you were after right? Vision? If you are getting ganked and your ward seen them coming and they stopped to kill it then maybe you need more mini-map awareness. Before you flame me yes I am bronze so anything I say you will disregard as me being complete trash and not knowing anything about the game but I've had improvements in my vision game with the patch because I don't have to invest as much to get vision as I used to. I get ganked a whole lot less now than I did before. The blue upgrade that gives you the 1hp ward that is seen... so what? They see it and kill it then I still got what I needed and that was the whereabouts of whoever crossed it's path. The fact that you don't have to leave lane to place it for a decent distance is downright amazing. In mid-late game I can literally ward every entry point to wherever I am at over the course of about 4 minutes and majority of those wards stay until killed. They kill it no big deal I'll replace it shortly and I still thwarted their gank or jungle movement which is the whole point of warding. Also the yellows, free upgrade (saved gold) 2 can be stored (saved gold) and cheaper pinks (saved gold) you can place the same amount of wards as before the patch. Yeah they are seen but it really isn't that big of a deal if they take it out because wards grant you vision.... same as they always did. This is why I like the blue ones. I place one every single time it is off CD (which mid/late game is very quick) and just light up everything I possibly can. Yes very early game (2-5 minutes) is very fragile as far as vision goes but that's where the whole point of the vision changes were to try and get the entire team involved in safety of vision by making it more accessible even with the slight drawbacks.

Better TEAMS will have better VISION.
