Is playing Solo queue with someone a terrible idea?

I have this issue where when I play ranked, 75% of the time, I win each game I play because I only play like 2 at a given period of time. When I get out of a game someone invites me to the next one and, from past experiences in Dynamic Queue, I SWEAR TO GOD I ALWAYS LOSE. I'm not even joking. I'm posting this because I've gotten myself out of bronze by NOT playing with anyone on my friends list this season, EVER. Until just now.

I mean we could have won this game if I would have just tried to fit Frozen Heart into my build because this Tryndamere was fed as fuck. But come on, there was nothing wrong with the person I was playing with. My friend is bronze 5 and I'm silver 5, there's a huge gap here so obviously the rest of my team and the other team were within that range as well. It was basically, fed Bard mid (yes, bard got me out of silver), or fed Tryndamere. The Tryndamere won.

Any who, I've come to the conclusion that climbing in lower elo by yourself is just a tad bit more worth it then playing with your friends. In my opinion, you tend to energize with other people who don't know you're playing with some cheesy champion. I just don't know how to put it any other words than that man. It's just really frustrating. I almost hit Gold last season because I've climbed myself up with just Veigar and Galio playing ONLY by myself, not with anyone else. Now the same cycle is happening again. I guess I should play with people when I'm more experienced with this game.

It depends. If you trust the person and know that they're good then it's usually fine but random people on your friends list if you're really trying to climb I wouldn't trust without at least a look into their match history or a normals match with them
