Jhin and Cait Are Oppressive

Firstly, no i dont think jhin or cait are op, no i dont even think they're at that strong. I think jhin would suck if lethality wasnt retarded in all honestly, he has the classic "no mobility but a lot of range" kind of shit that keeps varus from seeing play 90% of the time. However I do think cait is way too fucking consistent for a rather strong pick and shes one holy grail of a triforce purchase away from becoming the adc hec. Memes aside, I do think their kits and numbers are way too fucking high and dont reward high skill players, rather, a question of "ARE YOU FAR BACK ENOUGH?" Both these champions range so god damn hard there is no question of skill in when they win, but rather did you close the immense gap that these champions often start with. It's not fun, its not interactive, and we've had so many complaints about ranged champions fucking melee champs before they even get close, and the same thing is happening here. But instead of melee champions getting zoned out by the mere threat of ranged ballista, this is ranged ballista being zoned by even more ranged ballista. But unlike Xerath, they dont pay huge mana costs to keep these huge ranged threats up, but rather a purchase of a rapidfire cannon and an infinity edge.

It should go without saying that if Xerath didnt have to pay mana to cast abilities and every time he hit a q on an enemy he restored 200 health, he would be fairly busted. However Jhin and Caitlyn are even worse, but they have just have to auto, and a literal minefield between you to escape. The fact that adcs are doing Xerath's job better while also doing all the other adcs things represents a rather big balance problem. Dont get me wrong, I don't think its impossible to balance these champs. In fact i think we could definitely make ballistic adcs work, but their numbers need to be tuned down in order to compensate for their long term sustain compared to xerath, ziggs and what have you.

Now im not sure how we tune down an adc's auto numbers, nerfing their actual crit modifers like yas's passive wouldnt effect jhin very much and caitlyn would hit the trash can, but im sure there is a way. Maybe a simple reduction of their kit ratios would do it, spefically on caitlyn's headshots and jhin's fourth bullet. I'm not quite sure, and thats im why im posting this here, to see what you guys think we could do to help fix this problem. Maybe you dont think there's a problem, and i'd mostly likely disagree with you and point out the fact you're bronze 3 and main jhin, but please, learning is a community experience and being wrong is part of that learning process.
