Why is Leona not included in the tank update?

Now listen, I understand that i'm probably just a salty 450-ish k mastery point Leona one-trick,but let me go through the list of things Riot is talking about in the upcoming tank update, and then maybe someone can explain why my baby can't get some tune-ups.

Is Leona a vanguard? Check. Does she have anything in her kit that lets her do anything other than effectively initiate teamfights? No. Is she out of the meta? Check.

Riot, PLEASE, I'm begging you, I wouldn't play her this much if I didn't already love her, but I do feel she could really use some sort of update, preferably something that gave her the option to backpedal, because in my honest opinion, the main reason she's undervalued right is teamfights move a lot, and while she can move forward very easily, kiting back is much harder (not impossible, just usually much slower than most teams need it to be).

because she is already unique enough to not need big changes. Sorry but someone not being meta does not mean that they need changes since if that were the case we would be reworking 80% of the champion roster every few months. She is a heavy engage champion that is able to lock down targets better than most champions in the game. Her main weakness is that once she goes in she stays in so she has to make her choice of when to engage be her primary thing not "let's engage whenever i wish". She isn't someone who kites well since that is part of her design

I don't know where you are getting your info from, they never said she wouldn't be touched,

Statikk said, "Leona will probably be untouched. Maybe we can find some small_** QoL changes for her**_."

It's because she really doesn't need changes right now. They didn't want to change to many people in this class update, just the 3 large scale updates and some small ones (and they made sure to note that it could even be very little to no small updates). Not saying she is perfect and doesn't need any changes or anything but there are way way more champions in that class that needs it way more then her right now.

As someone who is a 480k mastery point Leona, who's been my most played champion since s1 and have clocked in roughly 1684 (Ranked, not counting normals) games, and who currently has a 64% win rate on her, I can assure you she's fine and doesn't need changes.
