Super League and city selection

Just wondering how Riot decides which cities to expand Super League to. I notice they're adding an additional 6 on top of the original ones they listed, but it's still all American cities. Any chance of moving into Canada, and if there is a selection process, is there anything we can do to influence it?

You can nominate a city, but it is done by zip codes, which I don't think Canada has.
