Yorick's Classification

I think it depends on what his reowrk looks ike. Hes about to be completely different in a sense.

Just being a spammy caster doesn't make you a mage. Yorick is a fighter who can also fill the role of a tank. As someone with a fair number of AP Yorick games he is in no way a mage.

I believe that Yorick's classification of Fighter/Tank should be changed to Fighter/Mage. Thumbs up if you agree

Probably is a little better than giving him the classic Juggernaut combo, which is what Fighter/Tank generally indicates.

Yorick is a little more in the Rumble/Vlad/Ryze direction where he's 50/50 defense/range when dealing with him.

Only major problem with a Mage classification is that usually indicates "deals magic damage" more than any specific play-style when applied to champions, and Yorick is predominantly physical.

That said, Yorick's existing play-style and kit are kind of a mess, would be nice to see if Riot could make his kit more Azir-like and less shovelware necromancer. In all likelyhood Riot's probably waiting on that rework before changing much of anything about Yorick. Unfortunately that could take a while.
