Please stop first picking a character in ranked

So i just had a game where i was in my promotions from silver to gold and i had 2 wins and no losses. so this game i ended up getting promoted but i can say i played very poorly. i have not played league in a while but i still wanted to try to get gold before the end of the season and jumped in and i can feel the rust. on top of that though i kept getting pop ups while i was playing i guess i have a virus or something. anyways this game was looking really rough for us and i felt like it was a done deal until i saw that our draven was getting ridiculously fed. turns out it was a first time ever senna player who didn't even have any normal games as her. and i feel the sole reason we won is because they first picked senna for the first time in a ranked game.
