State of Quinn

So it seems to me that with the current Quinn setup, she tends to either do great early game and snowball into an unstoppable force, or she becomes more or less useless for the rest of the game (in terms of anything that has to do with champions fighting). She can split push kinda alright, but that's about it. Is this anyone else's experience?

It's fun and all when you do fantastic early on, but it's a little frustrating any other time (not just when you do really badly, but even when you're doing alright).

I've had this experience too. Like, I can still duke it out 1v1, but in teamfights, I really have to play like the biggest coward ever if I want to survive or even contribute a little, else I just get blown up.

quinn is a decent toplaner, nothing else. she can punish champions that have trouble against ranged, thats her only use. in her current state, she is bad against mages and bad as a jungler and bad as an adc.

Have to sacrifice something to be able to have 1200+ movement speed.

Just to note, I'm not at all saying that she's bad, just that she's really bipolar. She's either incredibly powerful or incredibly unremarkable depending on how the early game goes. This bipolar nature is what really gets me; there's not much middle ground.

I think most people want champions that excel in team fighting, because it's the most identifiable and straightforward strategy, but there are other ways to play and win, and I think Quinn just fits in with one of those other ways.

Because she's an assassin, unlike other marksmen she literally can only rengar burst one person then has to recover in order to do it again. Her AAs without passive are just "Filler AAs". She's by no means bad however since you should always have 70% Crit late game anyways in order to truly burst your target but she takes teamwork to get her out after she got 1 person until she's ready to do it again.

My concern on Quinn: You got ahead in early? - Good, you can snowball to a certain point. At that certain point: You were snowballing but enemy now has tanks with tons of HP and armor? - Too bad you are useless now. You were snowballing and enemy has no tanks? - Good, continue what you are doing and keep pushing them to nexus.

Same applies to Kindred more or less.
