I don't care honestly, any variation of urf will be trash.

it's meant to be a one day gamemode like URF was supposed to be. Riot knows that this is going to be received pretty poorly, and designed it specifically so that they don't have to try and support the gamemode for more than 1 day.

It would be awesome if the nurf is actually a summoner spell. Like a hyper-exhaust to be used during urf to counter the extremely good urf champions.

I think it actually depends. If they realize most of the community thinks it is a prank, they might make it true D:

You guys think that Riot will bring back URF just like that without doing anything to change it? Riot won't just "Bring back" a featured gamemode without changing something about it. What better way to change up Urf than by completely reversing everything about URF. NURF WILL BE THE NEXT FEATURED GAMEMODE. IT WILL LAST ONLY 1 DAY, AND ONE DAY ONLY.

They have a subreddit dedicated to saying "f**k you" to the guy who suggested NURF.
