Is this part of the "META" lately

I cannot tell you how many times this has happened to me in the past year(s) of playing league of legends. Its beginning to really irritate the hell out of me. I have played the game since Nautilus was released. I have been on and off pretty regularly, and never really got into ranked too too much[if that matters for this discussion].

Let me get to the point of the post, I love playing every position in the game, especially top and both bot positions. What I have started to notice is the mentality of people to gang up with other lanes EARLY in the laning faze. I dont even know if I want to call it a laning faze anymore because it ends so fast now. What usually ends up happening is the mid will come bot/top or the JG will come top or bot and they will eliminate the laner and immediately push the first turret, completely fucking the lane over. I dont know what started this behavior, but my god does it throw me off a bit. I think the largest problem, if you want to call it that, is how effective this is. IDK maybe this is just the common strategy nowadays but I am starting to find it in each and every game, ranked or normal.

I cant imagine im the only one noticing this?
