Each game feels like a slot machine and its really not fun

Let me get this out of the way. I am in bronze right now. I am not amazing at this game, but I am not BAD at this game. I make mistakes. But recently, I have noticed a VERY particular pattern. I go into a game, and I get a few team mates that decide to feed, sometimes intentionally. I have looked up so many videos on how to leave bronze, who to play, how to carry. I get into a game, hey I may have a team who doesn't feed their lane, but more likely than not someone is going to feed 4 or more kills. These people do not listen to pings, they do not listen to me when I try to be nice and ask them POLITELY to stay under their turret, so what am I to do? How do I leave? I have tried almost everything and someway or another I get unlucky with a few team mates who feed uncontrollably.

And to clarify, I am looking for help and advice here.

Hi, also Bronze trash here (sort of, gave up on ranked), the thing is that people at all ranks complain about this.

May sound weird to say, but I don't mind losing. I'm not pro, I'm not a big time twitch streamer, I don't really care that much. That being said, I do hate losing when its genuinely a bad game, and it seems like half the games I play are bad games. Maybe you get trolls, maybe there's an AFK, maybe theres a smurf who has no business being in bronze. These are not fun games to win or lose and there's too damn many of them. Been like that forever, Riot makes that money though, so they don't care.

To be honest, I don't know that it's always your team. Even when I have good teams, it's random chance whether or not we win because teamfights are now just a bunch of headless chickens with lasers strapped to them hoping their lasers burn the other chickens in half before they get burned in half themselves.

Ranked is luck based, you'll just have to deal with that and remember that it doesnt matter at all.

In bronze you have to grab the game and run with it immediately because your team is a pack of baboons and will throw at the earliest available opportunity. Make the calls to end it early or your team will practically run it down mid.

If you're in bronze you should not care about what your team does.

0-10 midlaner? Doesn't matter enemy mid doesn't know how to build or roam anyway.

1-16 at minute 15? Doesn't matter they'll nashor throw or lose to not being able to defend splitpush.

Support is playing full ap Lux? Well at least you have two ap carries on your team now, better than having a thresh who can't land a hook.

Stop blaming it on your teammates. You get 0-18 yasuos at every ELO. You get smurfs, we platinums get eloboosteds and eloboosters. You get fresh level 30s who can't play support, we get the onetrick who got his main banned and can't do shit now. Your job is to carry that guy.

I like to quote an example that happened on a gold 2 promotion series game. We got obliterated on every lane. Just managing to keep the base up because we had some waveclear. I left bot without any items aside from my IE and my boots, and just farmed up the super minion waves and the normal waves at our base for 10 minutes. At min 35 i had 4 full items, we were with only 1 nexus turret and they went to nashor. So i said fuck this, pushed the mid wave, took down inhib turret, inhibitor, both nexus turrets and the nexus itself while my team did the best they could to stop the recalls (and eventually they stole the nashor too which helped the pushing). We had no business winning that game. The player with the best KDA on our team was our support, a pyke who was 0/2/5. Every member of our team but me was nearly 50 cs behind their laner (I was 100 cs ahead because i just farmed for 10 minutes).

Yeah, we had no business winning that game. My team was absolute trash. 4/10 toplaner 0/3 midlaner 7/11 jungler. But we won it because of a random play i made. I didn't expect it ro work, but i knew the chance to win was higher if i tried that than if i voted yes to the surrender vote. That's what you have to do. Find a way to win the game, even if your team isn't cooperating at all.

Bronze is bronze, can we talk about the psychology of Silver? They are stuck somewhere between pretentious "pro" attitude and bronze mechanics...

a lot of low elo players if not all dont notice their mistakes (some might be noticed but a lot you wont even notice)

i see a lot never notice how they throw hard when they had good early to then blame it on the worst player in team, thinking they are better just because of their early (and in a lot of cases they got an easy match up/jungle ganks that set them ahead) thats imo is what hold players back the most.

me? i dont care about unlucky games, they happen and lucky games happen as will but theres a lot of room for me to have impact in a lot of my games, be it setting adc high enough or just doing good in team fights.

Just keep playing and trying ur best. over time you will climb when you recognize mistakes and stick to a champ(s) that click for you,

For reference, back in season 7 I was placed Bronze 2. Climbed out and finished silver 4. In season 8, I was hard stuck silver 3-1 for 300+ games. Im not kidding. I even made a post on that. I legit thought I couldn't climb anymore, that It was my peak and I simply had to be challenger to get to gold cuz of terrible teammates. But eventually, with enough improvement and good RNG (cuz league rly is an RNG game) I climbed to gold.

Now in season 9 Im gold 1. And Im semi stuck.

As long as u don't have a learning disability like Kadeem. You can do it.
