I'm very excited to find out what "sticky bomb saplings" are. According to the leak, if it is 100% correct, so far it is accurate, Maokai will get sticky bomb saplings. Now that will be fun..

There's always the possibility. He's also getting a new ult. You know what would be hella cool for his new ult? Maokai plants deep roots into ground, after a brief delay, they shoot up and snare everyone within the radius for x amount of time. That'd be awesome and play him for that. I dislike how his kit only has one hard cc however the damage reduction on ult is nice and unique I suppose.

Well hers is a knock up that amplifies the attack speed of her plants. Maokais would be a root, and the durations would be longer because it would deal minimal damage.

Idk why it was removed. Barely did any damage anyways. Most of it was impact of the explosion.

it made him safe in bad match ups . if you were good with it you could safely cs while being out range/shoved punished

and it also lowered the overall damage

like i use to start an engage if one hit and then slowed then i would W in q e at same time ult W Q and ult and i could nearly one shot with that combo ... yes i mean do damage and kill which is why people cried and hated him cuz he was tanky, cc, sustain and could do damage

Yeah I hear ya. People wanted to burn that tree down awhile back. Gragas' passive is like Maokais sort of and grants a heal also. But no one complains about Gragas top. And he can for sure dish out the damage lol.

He has 2 hard CC's, though. A root and a knockup.
