I always thought that Warframe was the only game with a first whatever of the day bonus to get the system right. It always felt bad that I never was able to get the first win of the day bonus when playing earlier in the day, than when i got it the prievious day. It's almost like the game wants you to structure your day around it if you want the bonus.

The way it works in Warframe is that the system resets somewhen during the night time depending on which server you are plying on and not 24 (think it's 22 for League) hours since you got the last bonus. That ensures you always get the bonus if it's the first time of you playing that day independent from when you got it the last day.

As it can only see positive aspects of a system like that an no way to get the bonus more than once a day it would be what I'd whish for in League.

it would be great if Riot made first win of the day reset at a scheduled time instead of the way it is right now. There's no reason not to do it.

While it does suck in some regards they don't do this because it would give incentive for people to play one game late at night, just before the reset, and one game just after the reset. Riot doesn't want this because then people will log in disproportionately at these times for the reset to maximize xp earnings. They want first win of the day to be an incentive to play no matter your schedule. Personally first win of the day doesn't make enough of a difference for me to matter that much, but I can see why Riot doesn't want to have people feel like they need to play at a certain time to maximize earnings.

Any game that resets it's bonuses based on when you got this is just cancer. I don't want to be forced to get my bonus at 12 AM because I stayed up to then playing league.

Don't know that's it necessarily a negative, but you can actually abuse that to keep pets from degrading. Freeze them right before the reset, and thaw them right after. If you have a bunch of credits and the upgrade module, the thaw timer becomes inconsequential compared to getting stabilizers all the time.

only problem i have with night time reset system is that it would cause server lag for all players in-game for one second when the reset happens. If you have played other online games where everyone gets reset at same time, then you might know what im talking about.

I don't get why the current system is so hated.

I like how it resets a day after I won last, but gives me a two hour grace period so that it's not like I'm forced to win at a later and later time every day.
If I really wanted to I could even play a ton and get more first wins of the day than possible with the other system.
It doesn't make one time of day more or less popular than the others. People can play when they want.

I like League of Legend's system better than all other games' systems.

Warframe got it right? Every game besides LoL has it right. AFAIK LoL is the only game whose "daily" doesnt reset at a set time every day. And for literally no reason.
