Where else are most marksmen supposed to go? not every adc is jucian or jhin. they cant 1v1 retarded bruisers or tanks in top, they cant jungle, and they cant mid lane. bruisers and mages can go pretty much anywhere. adcs arent the same
Bot lane is still for ADCs, it just not only for ADCs anymore.
This is similar to.. literally every other fucking class. Bruisers and tanks are for top, but top and isn't only for bruisers and tanks.
Mages are for mid, but mid isn't only for mages.
Adcs now function like every other class in the game: They have a lane which is where most of them go, but they are not the only class there. A specific few of them can flex into other positions, but you won't see one every single game.
Every other lane has had to constantly change between different classes of champions.
The Marksmen role was the only one that hadn't seen this since pretty much Season 1 where they went from Mid Lane to Bot Lane.
Now that the Bot Lane role has changed to allow these changes, Bot Lane mains are complaining.
About what the other lanes had already experienced.

i wish people would understand the frustration.. it's not that ADC mains are whining or complaining because things got shaken up, it's because they were shaken up so brutally, that marksmen as a whole are generally unplayable. unless you're playing a very odd niche marksman (Ez, Lucian, Kai'sa, etc) you can't play it properly anymore. i'm all for diversity bot lane, but when almost all the champs in the role are unplayable, it's an issue. I play Jinx, i love Jinx, she's my main and my waifu (i'm weeb trash) i would gladly switch to jungle, or mid, or top to play her, but she isn't playable in ANY of those roles, and the better chunk of all marksmen share her fate right now.
the honest sad truth, is that marksmen cant truly be balanced (as they exist right now) because either they are so viable, that neither team would run anything else bot lane (because statistically that's the best way to get them fed, protect dragon, and generally lane) or they aren't viable, and it's pointless to run them because they'll never hit the power spike required..
and i know, some hashinshin wannabe is gonna come on here and tell me how wrong i am, but it's the truth.. i don't like it either
Where do most Mages go when it's an Assassin meta? Where do most Fighters go when it's a Tank meta? Where do most Tank Supports go when it's an Enchanter Support meta?
They still go the same places, just less frequently. They're not played every game by every one.
Don't bother.
The people who understand where you're coming from are just the choir you're preaching to.
The people who actually think it was a good or diverse thing that marksman aren't meta in the only lane they thrived in didn't bother to consider the fact that Irelia/Yasuo/Vladimir/Swain were already perfectly fine in 2 other lanes.
Then you have the salty and bitter bruiser/tank/assassin/mage mains that don't care, they just remember when they couldn't close out a game sooner than 30+ minutes and hated when their turn to have the most impact on their team was over and the squishy glass cannon with little to no self peel finally got enough items to do what they were designed to do and carry the rest of the game.
Long story short, most people are well aware that the reason it makes sense for marksmen to dominate the ADC position is because it's what they are built for, and they are terrible choices pretty much anywhere else.
The people that like these changes just don't particularly care, LOL.
Reminder that ADC =/= Marksmen
Any champion designed to Carry and builds AD is an ADC regardless of if ranged or melee, so Botlane isn't for Marksmen, but it still is for ADC, the only change that happened to Botlane is that now it's for APC too
