The Blitz Q change on where he now pulls you 75 units in front of him.
What exactly does this quality of life change do? I don't really understand it as you are still well within range of his empowered E.

Because pulling someone directly on top of you can lead to strangeness in knowing exactly where they will end up after the pull due to colliding hitboxes. Its mainly for people playing with Blitz, not Blitz himself.

That change has no intention to put the pulled person out of Blitz's auto range... It's just to keep things consistent as now you will always end up there, much like the TP location change, people used to end up in random position after being pulled
Its similar to how Old Talon used to E on top of his target, making him miss W sometimes.
Sometimes when you grab someone and then go to E them, you would glitch out instead of hitting them right away with your E as Blitz re-positioned himself. this could lead to the enemy getting away sometimes.
I suppose this will negate things like kennen using the enemy blitzcrank to escape a team fight with q+w and hitting your E as he pulls
