So you are saying a buildpath meant to take off the 30%-40% or so resistance that squishies have and oneshot them doesn't quite cut it against champions building 4x as much armor? Gee wizz. Stop oversimplifying things.
Lethality is weak against tanks, it's much better against squishys. what did we expect?
It's almost as if armour counters Lethality.
My favorite part was the double 
Lethality is bad against tanks. It's meant to be built against squishy targets.
