Literally has no counterplay to this champion. Dumpster her early game? LOl k my w xd. Goes 0-5 early? Manages to buy a gunblade and 100-0 your squishies anyways.

You obviously shouldn't have let her reach gunblade and level 6 /s

If she's 0-5 with a gunblade I'd hope you have an item advantage over her, otherwise you really didn't shut her down.

Although her kit is simple on paper, she's actually harder to play than most people think in game especially during the early game and late game. If she gets fed then yes she'll dumpster teams just like any other Assassin, but if she doesn't get fed, then the Akali player has to have good game knowledge and understanding of her to do well.

Early game is really hard for her to survive especially if her opponents are smart enough to poke her down and trade well with her. She doesn't have very many favorable matchups so most of the time she'll be at a disadvantage. She's basically the AP version of Master Yi come late game. She's a complete monster if you don't deal with her right away, but one mistake and it's all over for her. Since she's burst oriented and not sustain damage oriented like Master Yi she has to play that much more carefully.

Contrary to popular belief, she is the only Assassin that can't reliably one shot her opponents unless she's really far ahead which is what she is designed around. That's one of the reasons why she's allowed to have her three dashes. You have a lot of time to react to her burst because of how she can't one shot people unless she's ahead whereas Talon, Fizz, etc. can one shot you instantly giving you little to no reaction time. Playing around the fact that Akali is unable to one shot enemies like other Assassins can, it's her job to make good use of positioning and her shroud to outplay her opponents in fights.

If you're by yourself and you're a squishy champion and get caught by her, then you are going to die 99% of the time just like most Assassins so Akali is not a special case in that department.

Your post makes it apparent that you don't really have an understanding of how she works because you actually have a lot of options when fighting against her because of her lack of one shot potentional. Her post 6 is scary for a lot of people, but you definitely have options against her just like every other Assassin.

Lack of skillshots does not necessarily mean a champion is easy/faceroll.

Don't say "literally" when it isn't true. There's plenty of counterplay to Akali.

  1. Pick a champ that can easily poke her enough to where her passive won't cut it. Malzahar, Ahri, Brand, and Zed can do this without breaking a sweat.
  2. Hit her with a CC stronger than a minute slow. Akali has a very short-range blink, so something that slows her for a couple seconds (e.g.: Malzahar with Rylai's can place E on her for a 4s slow) tends to seal her fate. If you have hard CC, Akali has NO way of dealing with it.
  3. Area of Effect spells shut Akali down super hard. If she's in her W and being stubbon, a well-placed Morgana W (or something similar) can force her out into the open.
  4. Some defensive items early (e.g.: Banshee's Veil for APs, Hexdrinker for ADs) go a long way to stopping Akali in her tracks.
  5. Anti-healing items like Executioner's Calling can have insanely high value once she starts working on her Gunblade.
  6. Akali can't handle 2v1s early game. If the jungler does his job correctly, Akali shouldn't even be able to leave tower to farm.
  7. Akali is MELEE, ranged champions can easily stay out of range pre-6 and throw poke at her uncontested.

That's just the basics to playing against Akali. I'd actually recommend picking up Akali and playing her for a while just to learn her nuances, like what her jumps can and can't do, blink range, timings, etc.
