There's a 25 page discussion on Azir that has been going strong for about 3 weeks...

In a forsaken area of the site where reds dare not go (Champion Feed Back forums) there is a healthy and compelling discussion on what Azir is and everyone's confusion...

Is he a mage? An AP bruiser? A tank? On-hit Hybrid? We're all trying to figure this out...

But their's one point everyone agrees on... Azir's kit is clunky, unresponsive and counter intuitive. He's a hot mess with his kit revolving around one ability for attacking, initiating and escaping. Over all, in a 25 page discussion which is only growing, I haven't seen any positive feed back involving Azir's kit.

I might just have to check this guy out. Seems like I might like his kit.

His soldier's do not act on there own and pretty much replace your AA when in range of them,

If soldier's are spread out you can only command ONE to attack. He can ONLY put a point in W at lvl 1 as Q and E do NOT FUNCTION with out Soldier's summoned who do not act on their own. There charge is unresponsive and doesn't always go where commanded with there range being very unclear. The Q indicator should be on the soldier's and not Azir as it's very confusing. E is unresponsive and can't be cast while soldier's are in route making it's use as an escape tool... limited to say the least.

I would say he isn't anything like Heimer , Zyra, Yorick, Or Malzahar (people who use minions) as they aren't really minions, but extensions of himself.
