Dear Riot
I get it, I really do. You must make a lot of money off the pro e-sports scene to encourage you to tailor the entire game around high elo competitive play. I really do get it, because as a business you want to make as much money as possible.
However, consider, for a moment, the fact that most of your active playerbase are in low, non-competitive elo. These are the majority of people who pay money for champions, skins, hextech traps, etc. These are also the people who primarily keep your game alive by not only playing it, but also hyping up the pros you favor.
And yet:
Most people who play League are never going to make it to the professional e-sports scene (and as we all know, you only really have to be in at least gold to be able to reliably make money off of streaming League #youtubeplayers)
Most people who play League play the game casually, as in "for fun" and not exclusively for competitive rank.
Most people who play League want to play the game because their priority is to have fun, not necessarily to win.
However, you've been tailoring your game this past season exclusively towards high elo competitive gameplay, and the game is becoming frustrating to play, both competitively and non-competitively.
Please reconsider the types of players you prioritize when making changes to the game. Also, for the love of Teemo, buff the towers already.
Sincerely,
A disappointed casual who can only play League once a week, but would now rather play other games in that limited time in order to have fun.
