Karma " Can I has a Shield Bomb back please? "

Curious if the changes in 5.10 would be followed up on somewhere in the nearish-ish-ish future?

I was just getting to know her when that patch rolled out. I have played her a few times since, but never seem to be all that jazzed up about it. I was thinking about this at breakfast this morning and I have decided she is quite like oatmeal now. Really good substance, mixes well with lots of other stuff, but has no real flavor of her own.
The shield damage and its effect on game-play was unique added diversity and should be re-worked back into her kit much like you have done for Ashe , MissFortune , and others.

Uhm... .Riot killed karma because they dont like karma. They have this "thing" where support primaries must be shit everywhere BUT support.

Karma should just have been reclassified as a mage/support and changed accordingly for the mid lane. Instead ALL shes going to get are nerfs because "supports cant do more than support". *cough braum, bard, sona, soraka cough

Of course Tahm belongs to the Kool Kids Klub, so his strengths won't be addressed.

Some of those changes were necessary like soraka's q, it was constant harass that did good damage and then she had a heal to go with it. But yeah I see what you are saying, Riot even said it themselves after Bards release.

She is classified as a mage/support if you bothered to spend 5 seconds to check.

If she was a support she would have gotten AP utility scaling like the other supports If she was a support she would have gotten the improved mana regen they all got (not that she needs it at all)

And then she was balanced around being a support instead of a mid laner.

She is balanced as a Mage that isn't allowed to have useful CC and can only poke while having no escape,the smallest shield in the game(and largest),no heal

In her old kit, where her mantra Q healed, the shield bomb was the main source of burst. As fun as shield bombing was, she now has her mantra Q for damage.

She could however get some love from Riot. Moving passive to R and giving her a new passive could do something. She's currently in an ok state but she has a very generic kit that doesn't really shine in anything. She's not known for any particular reason like most other champions are.

She's my main champion cause I like the overall feel of her kit. However I think she could have a more defined niche which could be given to her via a new passive.

Why?

Seriously, why does she need this?

I can understand why you might want this, because it was a cool ability. But, looking over her kit's design, it makes more sense for her Mantra+Shield to give a much stronger shield, rather than a significantly-nerfed-because-of-her-increased-damage nuke.

Her Mantra now has three, diverse, situational options that don't half-ass their purpose for the sake of novelty. This is good design.
