I've come to the conclusion that standard rune pages are shit for me.

That extra 30 AP/AD.... yeah that. Don't need it. I've been running 6% EXP runes as my quints since the discount and I must say. I fucking LOVE it. I keep cheesing the heck out of people. I'm ending up 2 levels higher than everyone else on average during mid game. I kill my enemy laner on average by the second or third wave. Tried this weird build with yi with the 6% exp and 15.6% AS reds. It feels a lot better because I like more AS personally but it works out more on fiora than anything.

Changing my runes actually made it feel like they were something actually important. Before doing this i just played the game as is without taking into account what my runes were unless i went AP on an AD champ or vice-versa but now I'm actually playing to my strengths that I actually chose pregame instead of just having the rune page exist and being almost always identical to what everyone else uses.

Feels neat, really.

I havent tried them yet, so youre saying it gives you 6% more experience?

Yes. Just 6 but it's pretty hard to fall behind with it though.

Im just trying to understand, mid lane you get about 1 level xp per minute, by 6 minutes ur around level 6 or 7.

But whats the cost. I play yasuo with full attack speed runes (41%) and I dominate lane 9/10 times. When I used 28% attack speed I lost lane alot. Im wondering if this would help or ruin me.

It's mostly about snowballing for me. If I don't get an early kill the base damage increases I get in my raw stats and extra points in skills actually helps me out as much as the gold would. Plus if they leave lane even one time more than me it's likely I'm gonna be able to zone them with the level gap alone.

Don't know if it could help or ruin. I'd say it depends on your best personally pacing with the game. It helps me snowball so I use them

Somehow I feel like a level is basically the equivalent of a standard runepage, minus the skill ability. Except the standard runepage works completely at level 1.
