Soon there will be champions that will be dealing more than 30-40% of true dmg with almost every attack.
At this rate In season 10 community will finally be able to embrace their first full true dmg champion. I guess its gonna be another rework of

DerMangoJoghurt1 votesI don't think giving more champions access to true damage is a bad idea. True damage allows champions to still be effective against armor/mr stacking tanks without increasing their damage against squishy targets, and it has clear counterplay in buying health.

DerMangoJoghurt1 votesI never said every champion should have access to true damage. If tanks ever need such a nerf it's probably a better idea to nerf tank items instead. However, for champions that need to be effective against tanks, yet are punished for building a %penetration item, true damage is a viable tool to help them.
And it's not like true damage completely invalidates any kind of defensive items/abilities. If you attack a champion with 100 armor with an ability that does 30% true damage, your damage will still be reduced to 65% of it's original value. Without true damage, it would be 50%.
