movement speed max.xlsx - Google Sheets

this is my report on the possible maximum movement speed attainable, based on the raw numbers given on the League of legends website. that movement speed is 489,893.

It involves a rammus sitting on summoner platform with a Youmuu's Ghostblade, Boots of Mobility with homeguard, 3 Zephyr's, (or 2 zephyrs and a deadmans plate), and a mercurial scimitar.

the rammus also has all of the movement speed masteries and runes, ghost, heal, and baron buff.

the rammus is assisted by a galio, nami, lulu, and kayle. nami lulu and kayle are all at maximum AP, with a deathcap, a seraphs embrace, and 4 rods of ages, as well as baron buff, elixir or sorcery, and full AP masteries and runes. the galio has a zekes active targeting nami, and the kayle trades a Rod of Ages for a zekes activating it targeting lulu.

the galio is wearing boots with captain enchantments, an elixir of iron, a talisman of ascension, and a righteous glory, and there is an enemy champion standing at the end of the platform.

the total movement speed was calculated using the rules for movement speed from the wiki, specifically taking into account additive movement speed, flat movement speed, multiplicative movement speed, and the movement multipliers (which occur after the Diminishing Returns Caps) and the calculations can be seen in detail on the attached google document.

basically, in the ideal scenario rammus has 1241 flat movespeed with a total of 10,562.21% increase, which comes from all of the % increase movement speeds that stack multiplicatively. then the diminishing returns caps kick in, resulting in a movement speed of 59914.45.

then the after Caps multipliers of Heal, powerball, galio's righteous gust, and the mercurial scimitar active, which total to another 711.36%, because they also stack multiplicatively. and that gives us the final of 489,893 MS.

i would welcome anyone who is able to recreate what i have here in numbers, in a real game, and record it to show people. good luck, i hope you enjoy knowing just how fast it should be possible for a rammus to go.

P.S. the maximum AP calculation is shown on the second page of the google doc excel sheet.

The maximum movement speed was 2 Malphites, as his Q actually does steal movement speed. You could create a positive feedback loop of movement speed, as shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TSV76fa-j0

What, no Hecarim oneshotting the enemy champion?
