Is this item a viable purchase on any mages other than ryze, i feel like the lack of actual ap would gimp my damage too much and doing 10% more magic damage to champions close to me is not as good as 70 ap from 
. i miss abyssal scepter im sure tanks and ryze are loving their new item but it was the only item that felt really good on ap assassins, deathfire grasp too.
Why cant ap assassins have their own items?
ModWulf Helhammer2 votesPros take it on Cass sometimes instead of RoA if it's a tough matchup where they need the MR. Gives them the Catalyst passive and mana without having to sacrifice the item slot
