2017 Jungle Change questions

With the removal of smite buff rewards, plants not helping junglers (why are they even a jungle objective if they dont help junglers jungle?), jungle camps looking more dangerous (6 raptors, krugs that split int more krugs as you kill them and gromp that enrages) and the removal of Strength of the Ages, it seems the new season will hit junglers hard, primarily the non top tier junglers.

How are you planning to balance this? It seems like this season will make the list of viable junglers shorter. What about junglers that have slower clear time, little to no AoE skills, low sustain? It seems like it's gonna take them forever and a half while champs like Nidalee Graves and RekSai will just run cirlces around them plus putting extra pressure from the threat of invades.

I love the rest of the pre season changes but the jungle ones feel so weird and off. You made so many changes to the jungle without saying any intended changes for junglers, that's so weird. The most i've heard from riot is they will look at junglers.

I'd like to bump this slightly as it does seem rather strange. Plants don't really help junglers at all (whereas krug buff and gromp buff did), the smite heal is nice, but also with it comes an increase on smite's cooldown, which is worse, again... after the state the jungle's been in recently, with a lot of viable junglers and such, it feels like the jungle pool is once again narrowing for no given reason. It makes no sense.
