Isnt that the point of this queue? Wouldn't this improve the quality of games for solos, bringing more in who want to have a greater sense of teamwork?
With this compromise, the solo players can play solo, and people who want more communication get it.

I think one of the main reasons is that it is harder for them to review a reported player being toxic over voice chat than it is over the regular text chat box. but they recently said they are looking at adding voice chat. so it may happen.
If Voice Chat eventually comes, I think that it will work out to something like that.
Otherwise, they'd not be able to keep it an opt-in model.
