Riot's playerbase Interation

So I don't know what everyone else's experience is with this, but I have been pretty upset with riot and their lack communication with the playerbase when it comes to actually discussing the game. I personally have posted in a number of threads that reds have commented on seeking out their input but they never seem to want to talk about the game. I constantly see them posting and responding to stuff in the meme board and chatting on non league related topics but when it comes to trying to better the game or seeking clarity on topics they seem to shut the door in our face.
