I was limited to one summoner spell because of smite Runeglaive did literally nothing tri force wouldnt do. Ludens echo barely scratched them, so it was a complete waste of 3100 gold. All I have to say is, if you want to play ezreal, go back to adc. He's much better there, where he doesnt have limited summoner spells and items. You can build literally anything on ez to success, so just go with what you want. Just don't take smite and expect to do good, because you wont. I've been playing ezreal a long time, just trust me.

Runeglaive turns the DMG his Q does into magic damage, effectively giving him a 4th damaging ability, smite allows you to heavy farm jungle, putting you ahead of your lane in gold by a landslide, ludens echo is meant to AOE mini poke and wave clear in some cases, if you are complaining because the ludens echo proc didn't one shot their tanks, you don't know what the item is for. AP ezreal mid is in an extremely good spot on this patch, seeing as you play ezreal ADC, you might not be using his W as much as you should on AP ez, or, considering AP and AD ez have completely different playstyles, you are most likely just playing it wrong.

Well I'll keep carrying games. My only wish is that people would stop doing it just because it's in. You still have to know how to Ezreal. Also, 24 minutes isn't exactly your goal. At six items you cannot lose.
