What happened to simple elegance?

Every time a new champion is released it seems like there is a paragraph for each ability. Why can't Riot seem to desgin kits that are complex in the execution of the match, yet simple so as they do not have a passive and active component of each ability. You could describe Vayne's entire kit with about one or two sentences per ability. Yet a champion like Camille, good luck giving a short description of about 6 sentences for her kit.

Aight lets do this:

Passive: Camille gets a shield for some of her max health. Depending on which damage type the target has dealt, the shield changes, magical or physical.

Q: Camille empowers her next auto-attack. The ability can be reactivated for another empowered auto, or ou can wait, and some of the empowered auto's damage will be true damage.

W: Camille sweeps with her blade legs, in a cone. Champs hit by the outer half heal Camille, get slowed by 80%, and are dealt damage based off of their max health.

E: Camille shoots a line skillshot at terrain. If it lands, she can reactivate the ability to dash forward, stunning enemy units hit, and gaining AS if she hits an enemy champ.

R: Camille jumps to target enemy champ. A box forms around them, keeping them inside until Camille dies, leaves the area, or the duration is up.

Boom, all of Camille's abilities in two sentences.

Well, Rakan and Xayah's abilities are quite straight forward to read, but still pose much dynamics (in fact some may argue that it's too much, but we're not here to talk about that), especially Rakan's.

you can make it even shorter and describe Vayne's entire kit with just 1 word:
