I find it a joke to even spend money on this game buying skins since the champ that you love will eventually have a full makeover one day.

A balanced champ will be unbalance next patch then have all new skills on the next next patch.

Ashe isnt the same anymore Soraka isnt the same mao isnt the same zil isnt the same rammus isnt the same and the list goes on.

Dont let Riot know that the champ you are playing is fine......they will remake him or her in the upcoming patch.

your entire basis to this argument is under the assumption that a "changed" champion = a "ruined" champion, which is not the case

Unreliable buggy ult, unreliable buggy q, situational w that is really only nice for the passive, and a nice e. The old ww was better.

I could list off only situational bugs and the negatives of any champion to paint them as being trash. Warwick's +52% win rate with a +6% play rate show's a pretty decisive conclusion that not only is new warwick strong, but he's also enjoyed by the community.

Besides, old WW was binary af and was only useful for a single one of his abilities. His Q was only useful for clearing, cheese ap builds, or for right after an ult. His W was...well it was pretty useless in almost any situation. His E was...even more useless compared to any of WW's current abilities.

Just because you don't like new WW doesn't mean he wasn't a success, and it definitely doesn't mean he wasn't an improvement.

But this implied that someone wouldn't enjoy the reworked champion as much as the previous. In many cases, a rework still maintains the personality and feel of the previous champion and many "mains" still like the new version.

With this in mind, I simply don't understand why you would make the argument that it's pointless to spend money on a champion you loved because it apparently "will" be ruined by a rework or something soon?

You said that it doesn't make sense to buy anything for any champions because what you enjoy about them now most likely wont be around very long due to reworks and meta shifts.

To make that argument you would have to assume that the player wont enjoy the reworked version enough to be happy to have purchased a skin or whatever for that champion.

It's not a guessing game, I was simply pointing out a flaw in the assumption you would've had to have made in order to make a statement like that.

P.S. - you probably shouldn't downvote every single comment/thread that you disagree with. It's a bit petty and takes away the use of downvoting actual bad threads rather than a legitimate discussions, don't you think?

You don't have to be an ass. If you can't stay civil then you were brought up wrong
Everyone here has recognized that they aren't the same. We get that, and no one here has said that is wrong. What we say is that it doesn't matter that they aren't the same because you could still enjoy the new version. To say it's pointless would have to mean you have 0 chance to enjoy the new version as well.

I think your confusion here is that you assume it's a "brand new champion" when most reworks retain attributes of the old champion. Only very few could be considered "brand new" champions but even they retain some characteristics and abilities that previous versions have.

I'm not comparing apples to oranges (that would be like comparing Blitz to Thresh because they have 1 similar ability), I'm comparing Fugi with Honeycrisps. Literally different versions of the same product.

"Changed" =/= "Unenjoyable" or "100% different" and to say there's no point in spending money on the current version because it will change has to mean you assume they won't like the changed version...unless you can provide an example of a champion that was reworked to have 0% similarity to their previous version.
