How can people complain about Dark Binding's hitbox when Death Ray exists?

Are you sure you're not just playing a champion with a fat hitbox themselves?

To be fair Death ray can potentially deal damage to the entire team and a wave of minions/jungle objective while DB is single target.

The spells aren't really comperable and serve different purposes.
