I like to let the bard ult hit me as lissandra. Then I zhonyas, then ult. It's like front row tickets to a 4v5 LCS match.

around his release time i had one ult me while i was playing swain. He didnt hit his allies, just me and another guy on my team. right after the fight was over he said in all chat: gg, i just realized how bad of an idea that was.

It depends on the situation, though. If it would have saved your life getting hit by Bard's ult, then yes it was pointless, but If you dodging it saves your life, then it was worth it.

i mean you will come out of stasis faster than the other people in the bard ult. might help for setup in very specific scenarios. or to get away from a bad situation.

Funniest play I've ever managed to do as bard was when I was caught out (I was being bad >_>.) Four enemies are chasing me trhough their jungle. I think I am going to die. I decide to try to buy myself some time. I use my ult right atop of myself and the four enemies just as I cast magical journey. My ult hits me and everyone else, but I have so managed to use my magical journey while ulted. I'm a moving floating gold statue traveling away from the enemy who can't chase. I got away and then lost the next team fight cause my ult was on cd.
