Is it weird that Leona and Braum can't proc shield bash?
I mean they literally bash people with their shields. I dunno, seems like a bit of a missed opportunity.

Indeed, it feel odd playing Leona and not being able to use shield bash.
Riot wanted to stick by their policy: Supports aren't allowed to have fun.
Technically they could, with Locket of the Iron Salami 
, but it would be incredibly inefficient to only proc shield bash once every 120 seconds XD At that point it would indeed be better to get literally any other rune lmao
Taric couldn't have used Shield Bash before his rework, but he no longer carries a shield, so he can Shield Bash.

If only we were still in the days of Courage of the Colossus, where hard CC granted a shield, instead of simply resistances like it does with Aftershock.

Leona and Braum's shields aren't traditional shields.
Leona's isn't a shield so to speak, it's a defensive steroid that does AOE Damage on ending.
Sure they can. Just do Lux/Orianna/Lulu/Janna APC with Summon Aery.
maybe if shield bash was allowed to trigger off of abilities that give mr or armor with an opposite effect instead of giving 1-10 resist it would give a small shield. So if leona or braum pressed w it would trigger giving them a small shield and the regular shield bash damage effect.
Rammus also cant use shield bash.
Half his body is a shield. He has a defensive ball curl. He even attacks with his spikey shield body.
The biggest problem is that entire row of runes sucks and feels awful except shield bash, and most the actual tanks CANT USE shield bash.
They've created a huge problem in this row.
Demolish is the only viable rune in that tier and i really dislike it.
Font of life doesnt affect its user and does garbage healing even on tanks with aoe slows.
This tier really should have something good for tanks.
Take Guardian for Braum and Aftershock for Leona. Boom, shields.

I think it's a sign of how (not) much they have spent on designing that stuff.
i been saying, ever since S8's damage creep, that Leonas E(Zenith Blade) needs Jarvans exact shield attached to it. The same scaling, no slow. Just a shield.
